Kaleido Ads

Terms of use

Last updated: October 6, 2026. This English version is provided for convenience; in case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.

1. Who we are

Kaleido Ads is an online service operated by Guillaume Gavory (“we”), available at kaleidoads.com and app.kaleidoads.com. For any question, use our contact form.

By creating an account, subscribing or using the service, you accept these terms.

2. The service

Kaleido Ads uses artificial intelligence to generate ad visuals from the information you provide: photo, description, headline, style, color and formats. Visuals are produced automatically: their rendering may vary from one generation to the next and may contain imperfections. We guarantee neither a specific result nor the performance of your ads.

3. Account and free visual

  • You must have reached the age of majority in your province or country to use the service.
  • One visual is offered when you sign up, with no credit card. One free account per person.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for the activity on your account.

4. Subscriptions and payment

  • The Starter and Pro plans are monthly subscriptions paid through our Shopify store, in Canadian dollars, plus applicable taxes.
  • The subscription renews automatically every month until it is cancelled.
  • Each plan includes a number of visuals per billing period. Unused visuals do not carry over to the next period.
  • Your subscription is linked to the email address used at checkout. Use the same address for your Kaleido Ads account. Access to paid features is activated once payment is confirmed.
  • Any price change will be announced to you by email at least 30 days in advance and will only apply from the following renewal.
  • The Studio plan is not yet available. Joining its waiting list does not commit you to anything.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time, as described in our cancellation policy. Refunds are governed by our refund policy.

6. Your content

You keep all rights to the photos, logos and texts you send us. You guarantee that you hold the necessary rights to this content, including the consent of any people shown in it. You only grant us the right to process it in order to provide the service.

7. Generated visuals

Subject to compliance with these terms, you may use the visuals generated with your account for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial, including advertising. We claim no ownership of these visuals. Because they are produced by artificial intelligence, similar results may be generated for other users, and their protection by copyright is not guaranteed.

Before publishing a visual, it is your responsibility to check that it is accurate, that it does not infringe the rights of a third party (trademarks, people, works) and that it complies with the law and with the advertising rules of the platforms you use (Meta, Google, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.).

8. Prohibited uses

You may not use the service to:

  • create illegal, misleading, defamatory, hateful or sexually explicit content, or content involving minors;
  • impersonate a real person or a brand without permission, or create counterfeits;
  • circumvent quotas, limits or security measures, or access the service in an automated way without our consent;
  • resell access to the service.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.

9. Availability

We do our best to keep the service available at all times, but cannot guarantee it. It may be interrupted for maintenance or because of third-party providers (hosting, artificial intelligence, payment).

10. Personal data

How we process your data is described in our privacy policy. The photos and texts you send are passed on to our hosting and artificial intelligence providers solely to generate your visuals.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us over the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits the rights granted to you as a consumer by applicable law, including Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act.

12. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. In the event of a significant change, we will notify you by email or on the website before it takes effect.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Subject to consumer rights, any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Montreal.
